Amazing.

I’ve been visiting the ‘Stats’ page of Libsyn.com, our Podcast server, fairly regularly, and the number of downloads continues to grow month-to-month. This month, we switched the schedule around and went to an every-other week podcast instead of every week, and the numbers continue to climb. August was the fourth straight month we’d been a little better than the month before, with a total of 1,266 listeners. There’s still a long way to go, and we still need to figure out how to create listeners interaction (I’ve yet to receive an email about one of the podcasts) but the numbers are encouraging.

Other news, ‘Bumpo’ my ice fishing fantasy is done with principal recording, and I have the theme song. Writing the theme song usually makes it a lot easier to create the little incidental pieces during the play, since the theme will set the tone of the whole piece. Dave Erwin and I are working on a time to get together and do sound effects.

Dome Dog is next up for recording, and after that, there’s a couple of Kenna’s Scripts we should got into studio with. On the business end, it’s been all Calls to Santa this month, though more about that later.
